Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Influential Partners (“Influential Partners”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website influentialpartners.com and the Influential Partners platform (the “Platform”), which connects B2B businesses (“Buyers”) with professional content creators (“Creators”) and measures the impact of creator campaigns on pipeline and revenue.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it. We are committed to processing personal data lawfully under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent UK law.

1. Who we are

Influential Partners is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at hugh.murphy@influentialpartners.com.

2. The data we collect

Website visitors

When you submit a form (for example, to become a design partner, book a demo, or contact us) we collect your name, work email address, and whether you are a Buyer or a Creator. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, and use essential cookies to run the site.

Buyers

Account and contact details, your company and ideal-customer information, target-account lists (company names), and campaign briefs. If you choose to connect a CRM, we access only the limited data needed to match and report on campaigns. Payment details are handled by our payment processor — we do not store card numbers.

Creators

Profile and self-declared audience information; analytics evidence you choose to upload (for example, screenshots or exports of your own LinkedIn analytics); your identity if you sign in with LinkedIn; and payout details, which are handled by our payment processor.

Campaign and advertising data

Where a campaign includes a paid LinkedIn boost, we receive aggregate, privacy-thresholded professional demographics of the people who engaged with it (for example, breakdowns by seniority, industry or company). This is aggregate data and does not identify individuals. Where a campaign uses LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, we receive the contact details that individuals have expressly consented to share (name, email, job title, company).

We do not scrape LinkedIn or any other platform. We only use data that is obtained through official, consented channels — a member’s own uploads, LinkedIn’s official APIs, and data that people choose to give us.

3. How we use data, and our legal bases

For business contact data used in a B2B context we rely on legitimate interests; for named leads and marketing communications we rely on consent.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies required to run the website and keep you signed in. Any non-essential or analytics cookies are used only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

If you accept analytics on this website, two things load. PostHog, hosted in the EU, records how the site is used. Our own visit pixel sends your IP address to a company-lookup provider to find out which company the visit came from, and never stores your IP address: we keep the company name, not you. Neither loads until you accept, and you can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Your choice itself is kept in your browser so we do not ask on every page.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract and only on our instructions, including:

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6. International transfers

We store core personal data in the European Union (Frankfurt region). Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hugh.murphy@influentialpartners.com. We will respond within one month.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and EU data residency for core data. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard the data entrusted to us.

10. Children

The Platform is a business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “last updated” date above.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact us first at hugh.murphy@influentialpartners.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the Data Protection Commission (Ireland), dataprotection.ie.
